Responsible Party
The party responsible for data collection and data processing as described in the following text is named in the legal disclosure.
Usage data
When you visit our website, temporary data, known as usage data, are stored in the form of a log for statistical purposes on our web server, in order to improve the quality of our web pages. This data record consists of
- the webpage from which the file was requested,
- the name of the file,
- the date and time of the query,
- the amount of data transmitted,
- the access status (file transferred, file not found),
- a description of the type of web browser used,
- the IP address of the computer from which the query is made, which is shortened in such a way that no reference to a person can be identified.
The cited protocol data are only stored on an anonymised basis.
No warning without prior contact
In the case of competition law, domain law, copyright or similar problems, we ask you to contact us in advance to avoid unnecessary legal disputes and costs. We guarantee that passages that are justifiably objected to will be removed immediately, without you having to involve legal counsel. The cost note of a legal warning without prior contact with us will be rejected as unfounded in the sense of the obligation to mitigate damage and, if necessary, a counterclaim will be filed for violation of the aforementioned provisions.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via our contact form, the data you input in the contact form, including the contact data you specify, are stored by us for the processing of your enquiry and any follow-up questions. We pass on this data to the responsible persons within our company or to the persons responsible within our group of companies. Otherwise, there will be no disclosure without your express consent.
As such, the processing of the data input in the contact form is performed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 1. a) of the GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time. To do so, simply send us an informal notification via e-mail. This withdrawal of consent does not affect the legal validity of the data processing performed before it was received.
The data you input in the contact form are stored until you ask us to erase them, withdraw your consent to their storage or the purpose for which the data was stored no longer applies (e.g., once processing of your enquiry is completed). Mandatory statutory provisions – especially with regard to storage periods – remain unaffected.
Cookies
We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small data files which are stored on your device and which can be read. A distinction is made between session cookies which are deleted as soon as you close your browser and permanent cookies which are stored for longer than the individual session. Cookies may contain data which make it possible to recognise the device which has been used. On occasion, cookies only contain information on certain settings which cannot be linked to individuals.
We use session cookies and permanent cookies on our website. Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(1f) GDPR and in the interest of optimising and facilitating the user experience and adapting the presentation of our website.
You can set your browser to notify you when cookies are received. This ensures that the use of cookies is transparent for you. You can also delete cookies using the corresponding browser setting at all times and prevent new cookies being placed on your computer. Please note that our website may then not be optimally displayed and some functions will no longer be technically available.
Analysis tools
This website uses the open source web analytics service PIWIK. PIWIK uses so-called „cookies“. These are text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymized before it is stored.
PIWIK cookies remain on your device until you delete them.
The storage of PIWIK cookies is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.
The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website will not be disclosed to third parties. You can prevent these cookies being stored by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. However, we wish to point out that doing so may mean you will not be able to enjoy the full functionality of this website.
If you do not agree with the storage and use of your data, you can disable this feature here. In this case, an opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser to prevent PIWIK from storing your usage data. If you delete your cookies, this will mean that the opt-out cookie will also be deleted. You will then need to reactivate it when you return to our site if you wish your activity not to be tracked.
Social Media
In the use of so-called social media plugins, we have chosen a privacy-friendly variant, i. that when you visit our website, data is not automatically transferred to the respective social media providers when you are logged in with your social media profile, but only after you have confirmed that you want to. Nevertheless, we would like to inform you in the following which plugins it is on our website. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest of the person in charge or of a third party) or insofar as you have consented to the transfer Art. 6 (1a) GDPR (your consent).
XING plugin
Our website uses features provided by the XING network. The provider is XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany.
Each time one of our pages containing XING features is accessed, your browser establishes a direct connection to the XING servers. To the best of our knowledge, no personal data is stored in the process. In particular, no IP addresses are stored nor is usage behavior evaluated.
YouTube
Our website employs plug-ins from the Google-operated site YouTube. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
A connection to the YouTube servers is established if you visit one of our pages with an enabled YouTube plug-in. The YouTube server is notified of which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you permit YouTube to associate your surfing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is employed in the interest of making the presentation of our online offers appealing. This constitutes a legitimate interest as defined by Art. 6 1. f) of the GDPR.
